Fitnessssssss!!! And no, I am not talking about "fittin' this pizza in yo mouth!" I'm talking good old fashioned, moving your body and sweating!! If you would've told me 2-3 years ago that I would be keeping a blog about health & fitness and working out every day, I would've asked you what you were smoking. Then July 2014 came. I was over 200 lbs on my 5'2" frame, depressed, and just not taking care of myself at all. I had a miscarriage in November 2011, and I didn't do a real great job of taking care of myself during my next pregnancy or afterward. I was a mom of three who was sick and tired of being sick and tired. My best friend had been doing this thing called 21 Day Fix. She made it look so easy with her meal and workout posts on Facebook. I finally messaged her one day and said, "Help!" The rest is history! I lost 50 lbs with that program in about 5 months. I have since completed P90X, P90X3, Insanity Max:30, and my true love program, Body Beast. I not only have gotten into the best shape of my life, but I've found an outlet through exercise, especially lifting, that has allowed me to control my depression and anxiety without drugs! I call that a win!
